Publishing with more than 1 publisher in the same year

20 January, 2017 by Debra

I’m happy to have novelist Elaine Marie Cooper joining us today. She’s not only an award-winning author, but she also consistently publishes with two different publishers. That gives her a unique perspective on the publishing world, so I’m excited to have her share her experiences here.

Author Elaine Marie CooperElaine describes herself as a history geek. Her passions are her family, her faith in Christ and writing — usually about the American Revolution, a frequent subject of her novels.

Legacy of Deer Run released last month. How many books does that make for you now? [Read more…] about Publishing with more than 1 publisher in the same year

Using Life’s Lessons to Create Fiction

16 September, 2016 by Debra

Using Life's Lessons to Create Fiction, Kelly KlepferToday’s author interview is with Kelly Klepfer, whose debut book released earlier this month from Bling! Romance (an imprint of Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas). I really enjoy Kelly’s sense of humor and think you will too.

Kelly had ambitions to graduate from the school of life quite awhile ago, but alas…she still attends and is tested regularly. Her co-authored cozy/quirky mystery, Out of the Frying Pan, is the culmination of several of the failed/passed tests. Kelly, though she lives with her husband, two Beagles and [Read more…] about Using Life’s Lessons to Create Fiction
